Firstly, we would like to remind you that our ‘St Patrick’s’ theme dance is now less than a week away – March 23. Please register fycwpg@gmail.com by Thursday March 21. Cost is $15 for non-members.

Secondly, it is that time of year again! Tickets for our April 27 fundraiser are now available.

We are again supporting the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Support Group MB (see information on this organization below), as well as collecting donations for Winnipeg Harvest. We will be hosting a silent auction at this dance.

Tickets must be purchased in advance – $20 for members, $25 for non-members.

If you are coming to the March 23 dance, we will have tickets available for purchase there.

Additionally, tickets can be paid for by electronic funds transfer sent to fycwpg@gmail.com. If you do an e-transfer, be sure to send the club a separate email from you, giving us the full names of the members that you have paid for. We will email you back with your ticket numbers, and have them available for you to pick up at the door.

Alternately, contact us to arrange to pick up the tickets from a volunteer, and pay by cash.

Before we tell you about this month’s dance, we would like to start by answering a frequently asked question.

Why we require you to register to attend the Forever Young Dances, by Thursday?

• So our volunteers can order food from the caterer on Friday.
• So our volunteers can setup the bingo hall for the appropriately-sized dance floor
The only other option would be rush seating, and we’re all too old and civilized for that! If we didn’t have pre-registration to order food, we could run out or have too much wasted; either result is unwanted.
The Forever Young Board wants you to enjoy a lovely evening of dance with us. We also want to keep the cost of memberships and entrance fees very affordable.
Please help us – register by Thursday, with the the first and last names of everyone you know to be attending.
